Methodology
Our Indexes are the global benchmark for AI maturity in financial services. They are independent "outside-in" assessments based exclusively on publicly available information. Data is gathered through extensive manual research and proprietary machine learning tools that extract key data points from company reporting, public disclosures, and third-party platforms. Our methodology, developed in consultation with leading subject-matter experts, prioritizes metrics that are transparent, tangible, well-defined, quantitatively precise, and responsive to direct action or investment.

We believe that adopting AI at scale requires continuing assessment of four distinct, but complementary, areas of investment.
Talent
The volume and relative density of employees working in AI and data, as well as visible initiatives to hire, retain and develop leading AI talent
